ABOUT AUTHOR

Hi! I’m Shezaan Siddiqui, a 10-year-old writer from the UK. I live with my parents and siblings and go to St. George’s School in Edgbaston. I love reading, writing, drawing, and playing on my PlayStation. My favorite movie is Sonic the Hedgehog 3, and my favorite book is Robodog.
I wrote The Peaceful Valley to share my imagination with the world and to support a cause I care about — helping children get the education they deserve. A part of the money from this book goes toward helping kids who can’t afford to go to school.
I dream of becoming a famous author and writing stories that inspire, entertain, and help others.

A few of my favorite things

I love reading, writing, and drawing—these are the things that bring me the most joy! I enjoy getting lost in magical stories, sketching out scenes from my imagination, and creating characters of my own. What inspires me? My imagination and the books I read! Whether it's an exciting adventure, a heartwarming friendship, or a mysterious twist, books open up new worlds for me. They help me dream up stories like the one in this book, and sometimes, I even turn my drawings into mini comics or storybooks. I also enjoy spending time outdoors, where nature gives me new ideas, and playing board games with my family, which sparks fun and creativity too!

Writing with a Purpose

I dream of becoming a well-known author — not just to tell inspiring stories, but to help others.
That’s why I wrote this book: to support children’s education. A big part of the money from this book will go to helping kids who can’t afford to go to school — because every child deserves to learn.
